Yen Pares Recent Gains

The yen that climbed against its major counterparts in Asian deals on Wednesday at 11:50 pm ET pared gains shortly. As of now, the yen is worth 124.41 against the euro, 85.65 against the franc, 90.24 per dollar and 137.60 against the pound, down from 124.12, 85.43, 90.04 and 137.16, respectively.

Today, the Bank of Japan announced its decision to keep the nation's interest rates unchanged at 0.1%.
